Biography of Angela Lovett Shields

Bio

Angela Lovett Shields has over 8 years of graphic arts experience, including communications design, painting, photography, art direction, project management and website design and development. She earned her undergraduate Bachelor of Fine Arts with honors at Virginia Commonwealth University School of the Arts, and continued her education with an additional Associate’s Degree in the Applied Science of Graphic Design from the Art Institute of Charlotte. As an Alumni of the Art Institute, she has given informative lectures on freelance graphic design and networking to upcoming graduates. Angela also founded the Queen City Entreprenuers networking group, which she actively maintained for just over a year.

Currently, she is an Electronic Media Coordinator for Harris Teeter, Inc., a grocery retail store chain with 206 stores in the North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, Georgia, Tennessee, Florida, Maryland and Delaware areas. Truly a creative individual, Angela constantly seeks new ways to express her creativity, including actively practicing and performing the art of Middle Eastern dance.
